transformation - tiny to fat

while I was looking at old photos, I found something very unsual. It turns out that my brother at those time was still very tiny and thin. But look at him now. fat fat fat, heavier than me. What I could remember is he transformed from a tiny thin little boy into a fat bulldozer in only 3 months!

see his transformation B)

into

those pictures were taken only months away, but see the difference on his body, his cheek? geez! now he's getting fatter and fatter these days, bigger than me.

how can he got fat that fast? well the story began when we're having family vacation on melbourne. He got lost for almost half an hour. can you imagine, a young boy lost in other country? panic was all over our family's mind. but than it turned out that he took a walk to to to bathroom by his self (he already could speak english that time, genius!) but without told any of us before. After being lost, his eating style, appetite are totally changing! he ate 5 times everyday, and eat my snacks and chocolates -____-" so he got fat that fast!

now, every time people asked how can he get fat so fast? we answered, by being lost in other country. haha. maybe for you who wants to get fat, you should try on getting your self lost in other country! kidding.

Eid Mubarok, the Athmosphere

Happy Eid Mubarok 1431H friends
Let me ask for your forgiveness :)

Eid Mubarok had been an own culture here in Indonesia. People got home to their homelands in great numbers, to see their family, to visit each other and ask for their forgiveness. The sense of kinship in this moment is really huge. Every one willing to go to their homeland eventhough they have to be in lots of traffic, being
in a crowded transportation, and quque for a long time.

This moment is a massive moment, which means every single moslem person celebrate this moment, no matter who she/he is. Somehow for under previleged people, they willing to fight with their life to get to their homeland in a low cost. For many of us, this is the only moment when we can spend time with big family together. We used to spent the days in Granny's house by yelled Takbir in the night, did Eid Pray in the morning, spent the rest of the day to visit each other and ask for their forgiveness, then with delicious foods, with the rest of big family member, we celebrate the victory day from the Ramadhan month. Here, the sense of togetherness does really
exquisite :)

But how about them who was in a coutry who didn't c
elebrate eid mubarok?

Once when I was little, I spent my Eid Day in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The atmosphere of Eid Mubarok there was so different than here. If we spent the day with joy and togetherness here, there, all you can find was only silence, just like another usual day. Because I was winter that time, not much people went around outside. The sense of Eid Mubarok doesn't felt at all. Thank God, we still had an embassy out there, which can provide us who wanted to do Eid Pray. When the Indonesian gathered in one place, the sense of Eid begun to felt. We started to ask each other forgiveness, chatter, and eat some delicious food. Seems like a moment that were celebrated in the middle of the routinity there. After that we came back to our activity, just like usual.

no atmosphere of Eid Mubarok, only silence

We should be grateful can celebrate Eid Mubarok here, where it already become a culture to spend it with family, to spent it with joy and togetherness
:)
Some other who have to be out there cannot feel the same thing with us, cannot be as luck as us

be grateful, and don't waste your time with your family, celebrate this moment

happy eid mubarok :)

Bandung, My Colorful Life

This post told about my friends, my saviours, my besties, my families in Bandung who made my life so colorful and fun. People that you can depend on and otherwise, they can depend on you too :)
They're people who I do really love and care

First of all, here is my girls.

they're Dini, Gadih, NC

Dini, the rumbustious one
Gadih, the sprightful one
NC, the calm and diligent one
there's no one that I can love and care more than them (except my family, of course), they're the one who I share not only my sadness, but also my happiness. Fell so somfotable and fun to be with them We had been through so much time together, keep sparking each other and they're my best :)

then, here goes my playing, studying mates in FTTM
they're the coolest friends ever! not friends maybe, family seems a right word for them :)

So much thing we've been through since ourfirst time to be in Bandung, away from each other parents. They're the first family I've ever had, and i love them all :)
every single uniqueness, foolishness, silliness, stupidity had make our days very colorful. every single time I spent withthem was really full of laughter.
They're the one who made each other standto stay here. Every single moment happened here, they're the one who turn it impressive and memorable. Because of the tem each other of us can pass the sad, the crucial moment, by helping, spiriting, and caring for each other. They made my time here fun :D

and here is my Super Brother, Abang Rexha
with fierce looks but gentle hearts, he is the king of hubbub

below here is my classmates, we share lots of stories during the class :p

we're all from the coolest faculty, FTTM09

It's great that I have such great kostmates too :)
they're my family in my home in bandung, Kosan Om Rico

Film, Indonesia, Film

Holiday in home means spending a lot of time to watch TV. One of the international channel that attract me is Fox Crime. Maybe it's because the series that was broadcasted was interesting and unique. Most of them have the major theme, Crime, but with different kind of show. For example, Bones, CSI, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Lie to Me, all of them tell about how the police catch the bad guys, but with different kind of story. Dexter, Leverage, tell about how the bad guys work.
This channel got a high rate in every single place in the world, means everybody can enjoy and like it (the theme, Crime ):D

then my biggest question is,

why don't Indonesia make a movie or series with the theme like this?

crime series here aren't violent and cruel, but they tells the how interesting is the process, for the good guy to catch the bad guy, or otherwise

I'm not the only TV watcher, and I believe that there're lots of Indonesian filmmaker who watch the same series. This is something 'out-of-box' than our usual TV consumption in Indonesia, which always tell about love stories (with never ending), or tragic stories (also with never ending).
Where're the creativity from the Indonesian filmmakers?
My friend, Akhdan, commented that 'market demand' and 'chasing payments mental' had beat the creativity and quality from Indonesian series/movies

when was the last time you watch Indonesian movie that you considered good?

For me, It's was a long time ago, when the movie such as AADC, or Jelangkung were on. Those are some of Indonesian movies that I considered 'suit' to be shown in Cinema.

Currently, there're moral and quality degradation in Indonesian movies, lot's of them. Seems like it's really easy to make a popular cinema film here. the key is you only have to use sexy players, even though the story was shallow, although the shoot was in a total bad quality. And moreover, lots of people watch it. what a mess.

Somehow I miss when our country can produced a great movie, a movie that people talks about it, a movie that can bring us to be a better people, or a movie that can open our mind.

Lot's of inspiring stories or theme were out there, and our creativity wait here wonder when they will be used. So, will we only shut and do nothing?
Let's make a move Guys! :)

lessons from the little one

'Don't ever be ashamed to learn from someone younger than you, make it lessons for a better future'

I made the quote above about 3 days ago, when I came back from Bandung, in Ramadhan, after a long time. As we know, the Ramadhan month is known as the month when we do a better pray, a better habit, to be a better person, either spiritually or physically. Spending the whole beginning (and most of it) of Ramadhan in Bandung make me a little forget about the true meaning of it. Being far from parents make us get less advice from our parents, and that's what actually happened to me.
In Bandung, I get less teaching about the worship in this holy month, I did my every day in usual, the difference are only 'fasting' and 'taraweh', not much. When I came back home I saw something different. Here, I felt the real Ramadhan days, when praying become a major routine, when family spent time all together, and when we remind each other to be better.

Somehow, I see my brother. My Papa kept talking on him, encouraging him, told me to follow his habit. He is 12 years old, hasn't Baligh, but his interest in praying are much much better than. He always does the Qobliyah Ba'diyah Pray, read the Quran every night, read prayer when doing something, but what I most adore from him is seriousness when he prays, not like me which make praying is only an obligation. God, I felt so ashamed for myself.

then I remembered something

"there was no word 'too late' to change"

all that I can do now is change. Change to be better, to be like him or more, because it was never too late to change.

don't ever be ashamed to learn from someone younger than you :) cause there's no guarantee that you're better than him/her
then, change! don't ever feel that it was too late to change, cause i will never too late:)
